The unusual design brief on this home was “the Hamptons meets Morocco”! The clients lived abroad and were keen the home reflected places they had lived before. We took out some internal walls and put in glass double doors to allow light to flow through the upstairs living areas and make the most of the captivating sea views. The home also has bespoke panelling and a hand painted kitchen with Carara marble tops. We used luxurious seagrass wallpapers from Thibaut, Designers Guild and Zoffany to bring in the coastal palette of the surrounding area. As the owners lived overseas we were able to project manage this renovation liaising between the client and their team of builders, joiners, decorators etc to ensure their expectations and timelines were met.
